What is your shop about? What kind of goods do you have and what makes you unique? Also, how should people best contact you?

My primary focus is shoes and boots from medieval Europe.  Some are ‘inspired by’ and some are closer to reproductions.  I have several common designs on my site and I’m happy to discuss custom designs as well.  Odd feet find me so if custom in my niche, no mass production imports.  My email is on my site.

How long have you been a part of the SCA?

Almost 30 years.  2021 (Pennsic 50) will mark my 30th Pennsic and 10th as a Laurel.

What unusual item needs to be on everyone’s packing list?

Shoes!  Kidding.  They’re expensive and a little hard to find.  New folks need a belt that they probably don’t own so get a belt and a bag you like to get you started.

What is your favorite memory of something that happened at an event?

My knees don’t allow me to fight any longer so I miss the fighting and comradery that goes with the heavy list.

Which event is your favorite every year and why?

Pennsic!  So many people both customers, friends and merchant neighbors.  My year revolves around it.

What is the best short advice you have for any new members?

Look and listen and jump in.  Give anything a shot.  You can try and abandon lots until you find something you really like.

Nothing throws off a great ensemble like sneakers. Your feet deserve some love <3
